Angel Gifts
Christmas 2016
Are you looking for a way to give back this holiday season? Angel Gifts offers you the opportunity to get involved with families that are struggling. Do to financial strain and reduced income, many families are not able to provide Christmas gifts for their children. Angel Gifts provides each member of the household with something special for the holiday.
‘I had to tell my eight year old son that we could not afford Christmas this year to prepare him. He is so grown up for his age, and even though he was so sad inside, he told me that it was going to be okay and that he and his little brothers would understand. A few days later I got the call from the hospital that Jordan’s Angel Foundation was going to help us as one of their families for Angel Gifts. I decided not to tell the kids about this in case something did not work out, as to not disappoint them again. I picked up the presents a few days before Christmas and put them under the tree while the kids were at school. When my son got home, he broke down crying. I thought he was so excited over presents, but he turned to me and said, ‘Mom, how could you do this? We don’t have the money for this. We need to return these.’ ‘I told him we got help from an “angel,” that it was not money we did not have. Christmas morning was more exciting than ever because we knew it came very close to not happening for our wonderful boys. Thank you Jordan’s Angel and all the beautiful families that helped us out!’

Last year I received a phone call from one of the families we helped that brought me to tears.
The mom called to tell me about their Christmas morning experience:
