Jordan's Story
She had a ‘normal’ life for a short time, when she was considered cancer free. She was even able to go to school and play like the other kids. The cancer came back after less than two years. She relapsed three times over a seven year period and after being diagnosed with leukemia at only 18 months, Jordan lost her fight on June 19th 2007, at only eight years old.
Jordan’s Angel Foundation was established to honor the incredible fight Jordan and her family went through and to help with the needs and worries of families still fighting. Jordan was born January 10, 1999, and lived most of her 8 1/2 years in Highlands Ranch, Colorado where she was surrounded by family and the loving care of Children’s Hospital nurses and doctors. She was loved beyond words and will never be forgotten.
Jordan was a special and strong little girl. Everyone knew she was destined for something different. She had a tender heart, loved life, and she had a depth to her well beyond her years. Her sense of humor was sharp and witty. It was almost as fabulous as her unique sense of style. She was always in skirts or dresses with as much jewelry as she could wear. Jordan loved life. Even though most around her saw her life as very unfair, she lived every minute and every experience to its fullest, loving it all. She loved to play with her sister, cousins, grandparents, and her best friend.
