Computer Games

During the time I spent in the hospital I played lots of games and did lots of crafts. Most hospitals have a game room where you can make crafts, play games with others, or color pictures. Reading, drawing, and watching movies are always something fun to do too. Next time you’re there ask someone who works at the hospital if they have a game/craft room.

The Kids
As a sibling who had a sister with cancer, I know that the siblings aren’t who people think of to help. I realized quickly that I wouldn’t see my parents as often as I wanted. At the age of seven, though, I didn’t quite understand why. It felt like my parents thought I wasn't as important. Now that I’m older I realize that wasn't true. They loved me just as much, they just didn’t have the time. Because my dad worked to pay the medical bills, and my mom stayed with Jordan at the hospital, I spent the majority of those seven years staying with my grandparents or my aunt and uncle.

Computer games were something I played constantly when I was at the hospital. They helped my time pass quickly and are easy to access. Club Penguin was one of my favorites. Cool Math Games, Webkinz, and FunBrain are fun for eveyone too!
